Even though some people may think that wrestling is a sport but the fact is that wrestling matches in WWE are entertainment-based and they should not be considered as professional sports. Over the years, many wrestlers have become globally popular and some of them have even become legends in this form of entertainment. Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle is one of the biggest legends and most famous wrestlers in the world. Over the years, Kurt Angle became one of the biggest legends of WWE because of the number of the titles that he won during the WWE competitions. Kurt Angle is the six-time world champion and he managed to win four championship titles while with the WWF/WWE, he won one United States Champion, and he also once became Intercontinental Champion.
Kurt Angle left WWE in 2006 and since then he remained in the wrestling entertainment business but he also focused on some other work as well. Since leaving WWE, Kurt Angle has been also starring in several movies which is a standard business move for wrestling legends. Some of the movies in which Kurt Angle featured are Dylan Dog: Dead of Night (2011), The Last Witch Hunter (2015), Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014), and many others.
Chavo Guerrero Jr.
Salvador Guerrero Jr. is a member of Guerrero wrestling family that is famous for having several members who are globally popular wrestlers. Chavo Guerrero Jr. started his wrestling career in 1994 when he was still a young 24-year-old guy and in 1996 he joined New Japan Pro Wrestling or NJPW and that move turns out to be the best possible for him.
Soon, he became one of the most prominent figures of wrestling entertainment in the entire world. Besides that, he is also known because he had a huge feud with his uncle Eddie. His uncle Eddie wanted him to use the tactics that Eddie used in his career. However, Chavo did not want to use Eddie's tactics because Eddie was cheating in the majority of his matches. That made Chavo even more respected among the fans as he stood up for decency and integrity in the world of wrestling entertainment.
Robbie E
Robert Strauss who is known under the name Robbie E is a wrestler who became known in the world of wrestling entertainment in the late 2000s. His debut in the world of wrestling entertainment happened in 2000 but he spent the first years of his career in the independent scene. Even though he has a huge number of won matches, he is known the most for missed opportunities. During his career, he had the opportunity to win several major titles, but in those matches, Robbie E failed to perform as many of his fans wanted and he lost almost all of those matches.
Amy Dumas
Amy Dumas or Lita as she is known in the world of wrestling entertainment is one of the most famous female wrestlers in the entire world. In 2014, Lita was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame which is enough proof of how popular she was during her career and how much she has contributed to the development of wrestling entertainment in the entire world.
Wrestling is not the only career that Lita performed as she was also a member of a music band called The Luchagos and they performed at many wrestling entertainment events over the years. In 2016, Amy Dumas announced the end of her career and many have called her exist as one of the biggest losses to the wrestling entertainment industry.
Matt Sydal
Matt Sydal is American professional wrestler who has been in the scene for a long time as he made his debut in the wrestling entertainment industry back in 2000 when he was only 17 years old. He is also known as the first wrestler who received the wrestling license while he was still under 18 years old. Even though his career started back in 2000, Matt Sydal is still active in the wrestling circles and he is currently one of the most famous wrestlers in the world.
Scott Steiner (Big Poppa Pump)
Scott Carl Rechsteiner is American wrestler who was a member of former amateur wrestler who competed for the University of Michigan back in the days when he was studying at this university. He made his debut in the wrestling entertainment back in 1986 and over the years he became one of the most recognizable figures from wrestling entertainment industry.
He shortly ended his career in 2010 but he soon returned to action in 2011 but he did not stick long in the professional wrestling entertainment and since 2011 he has been an active wrestler but in the independent circuit. During his career, Scott Steiner or Big Poppa Pump which is his nickname in the world of wrestling has made several appearances in the film and TV show industry as well.
Rob Van Dam
Rob Van Dam made his debut in the wrestling industry in 1990 and since then he had several attempts at reaching the highest levels of wrestling entertainment. Rob Van Dam is still active wrestler but he is no longer part of the big established wrestling entertainment companies and he is trying to make a significant impact on the independent circuit but he is far away from his best and the most famous days.
Booker T
In the world of wrestling entertainment, Booker T is famous the most for his time in the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/E), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), as well as in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). During his career, he managed to win 35 championship titles while being a part of those organizations.
Besides that, Booker T is also the most decorated wrestler that ever competed in the WCW as he managed to win 21 titles during that time and those titles also included six WCW World Television Championships which is something that no other wrestler has ever done.
